Choosing the Right Notarization Certificate
When a document does not come with a certificate, the signer must decide which type of certificate to use. The most common types:
Acknowledgment
- Verifies the signer's identity
- Does not verify the truthfulness of the content
Jurat
- Signer swears that the document's contents are true under penalty of perjury

- Valid, unexpired photo identification issued by the DMV or a current Passport

- $15.00 per notarized signature (fee set by the State of California)
Mobile Travel Fees
Travel fees do apply and are quoted based on the location of the notarization.

- Current postal rates will apply for standard, certified, or next day delivery service at any of the above mail service locations.
